Q: Has your job role been taken more seriously during the pandemic?
I’d like to think that my role was always taken seriously. I will say though that it has been more of a challenge to collaborate and bring on new members when we are all so physically distant. – not impossible- just takes more effort.
Q: How has your pay and reward strategy changed in the last 12 months?
Two things- I have seen a shift with a major focus now on employee on financial wellbeing, for example, our employee benefits have improved a lot, partially after we received feedback from the Great Places to Work survey. Secondly, our customers have become more vocal, they are expressing what they want for their customers and looking for ways we can facilitates these requests.
Q: What is your main focus for the new year?
Making employee self-service capabilities universal.
Q: Without giving too much away, what two things will delegates learn from your session?
The will learn why when we talk about financial wellbeing there are many elements to consider and why COVID-19 has dealt such a significant blow to women’s economic stability.

Overcoming the challenge of remote working: How tech can support Payroll professionals can remain compliant from home…..as a techie I am interested in hearing what we can do to help with this given it is such a huge challenge for many organisations.
