HMRC contacts 10,000 employers about potential CJRS errors

HMRC’s Taxpayer Protection Taskforce is writing to 10,000 employers who may have made an incorrect furlough claim.

HMRC said it wants to ensure furlough money is claimed correctly which is why it’s writing to employers, urging them to double check their claims in case of any mistakes.
