More than half of HR professionals (53%) do not leave their desk for lunch, according to research.
Just 32% of respondents to the Robert Walters Career Lifestyle Survey said they leave the office for lunch, while 16% leave their desk for lunch but stay in the office.
The survey also revealed HR professionals’ attitude to workloads, with 63% saying that a company culture where long working hours were expected would be one of the main reasons they would consider searching for a new employer. Only a lack of career progression (66%) was more likely to drive professionals to change roles.
