Davis will be speaking at the conference, ran in partnership with The Learn Centre, next week (June 6 and 7) at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel.

Reward Strategy (RS): What do you think delegates will learn from your session?

Shaun Davis (SD): “The importance a wellbeing brand (“Feeling First Class”) has in engaging the organisation around health and wellbeing and how a geographically disperse workforce requires a multi-channel approach.”

RS: What do you think is the biggest challenge facing HR is right now?

SD: “The “always on” culture; mobiles, tablets, social media etc.… how is this affecting mental health and especially recharging the batteries.”

RS: What other sessions are you looking forward to at the Payroll & Reward Conference?

SD: “All of the sessions that have an employee engagement and/or an equality slant to them as in my opinion these are key to success.”

RS: What do you think has been the most visible change to employee wellbeing in the last year?

SD: “The profile mental health has, still a long way to go but the work to date has been super encouraging!”

RS: What do you think will be the big issue for pay and reward in 2018?

SD: “Gender will still feature strongly I suspect (as it should) and I suspect the wider aspects of diversity, inclusion and equality will continue to be high profile. I am also pleased to see this as there are mental health aspects associated with this, but most importantly equality is absolutely essential if we are to focus on issues that matter to the world and make improvements; gender equality, in fact person to person equality regardless of age, disability, race, orientation etc should be a given in 2018!”
