The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) established the week-long celebration to raise the profile and awareness of payroll in the UK.

This period of time, taking place between September 2nd and 6th in 2019, aims to help demonstrate the impact the payroll industry has in the UK.

According to the Office for Budget Responsibility, the collection of income tax and National Insurance is expected to contribute in the region of £301bn, to the UK economy, in 2019/20 .

As media partner of National Payroll Week, Reward Strategy will be present at the week’s events, from participating in roundtables to networking with professionals at the a drinks reception, at The Savoy, on September 2nd.

Given Reward Strategy’s predecessor was titled Payroll World, we are not unfamiliar with the huge amount of work and sacrifices payrollers make to ensure employees are always paid.

It is without doubt that the payroll profession doesn’t shout out about their achievements enough, which is one of the reasons why this week is so important - as well as such events to award individuals and teams, like The Rewards.

Reward Strategy would like to thank the payroll profession for always paying us, and others, on time and correctly. We look forward to seeing you during National Payroll Week!
