The likes of Burton’s Biscuit Company, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty and more thanked staff for their efforts with sweet delights this Easter.
As employees signed off for the long Easter bank holiday weekend, many employers used the annual holiday to reward staff for their efforts.
One such business was Burton’s Biscuit Company, which owns brands such as Maryland Cookies, Jammie Dodgers, Wagon Wheels, Bronte and more.
It explained on LinkedIn that it wanted to thank its “amazing employees” with some Easter-inspired hampers.
Sharing a picture of the hampers the company wrote: “To say THANK YOU to all our amazing employees at Fox’s Burton’s Companies, we sent out Easter hampers packed full to the brim with scrumptious Ferrero products!
“Now for the hard part of deciding which one to tuck into first! What would you go for?
“Wishing you all a Happy Easter.”
LinkedIn users praised the move as Keith Matthews, national account manager at Coveris Group, branded it a “great gesture”, while one employee at Burton’s shared that the hamper was a “lovely and unexpected treat”.
Elsewhere, make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury Beauty celebrated the occasion, with its people team handing out chocolate eggs and hot chocolate drinks to staff members at its London office.
Writing on LinkedIn, Sarah Day, global people director at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, said: “Spreading some Easter magic! Thank you to our incredible people team for their boxes of delights in our London office today.”
Similarly, home furnishings retailer Dunelm hosted egg decorating for its staff members to take part in to celebrate the annual holiday.
Josephine Brown, people lead at Dunelm, shared on the social networking site: “Fantastic few days at Dunelm SSC this week, catching up with lots of colleagues and even managed today to grab a half hour to join in the fun of decorating an Easter egg! Mine was modelled on Mr Potato Head! Thank you to our fab people engagement team for organising (now to crack it open).”
Finally, insurance firm Willis Towers Watson (WTW) was also commended for sending some staff a hamper, thanking them for all they do within the business.
Claire Linaker, client leader and sales manager at WTW, shared her gratitude for receiving such a gift: “I consider myself fortunate to work at a fantastic organisation with so many amazingly talented people. Today I was once again reminded of how thoughtful the team are, when I received this surprise delivery for Easter. Thank you all so much!”
