Sue Childerstone

With extensive experience in organisational development and managing teams through periods of significant change, Sue has modernised NHS Payroll Services ensuring a professional, customer focused, high quality service is provided at all times.

Sue has excellent technical and operational knowledge of the NHS payroll system and Employee Staff Record (ESR), having been involved in its early implementation. She is respected by NHS organisations across the UK, inspiring those around her and providing advice and support to staff and peers.

Sue has 43 years experience within the NHS and in that time she has gained a wealth of NHS knowledge covering Whitley Council and Agenda for Change. She is a member of many national strategic groups including the special interest group for payroll and pensions and the national employers forum for pensions where she contributes to a plethora of redesigns and developments.
